Start-Up Updates: Trius, SelexysThe company announced today that it completed enrolling for their randomized, double-blind Phase 2 trial meant to test a novel 2nd generation linezolid (brand name Zyvox). The complicated skin and skin structure infection (cSSSI) study tested 3 different doses over 5-7 days of therapy.

Trius said top-line results should be released in 2Q09.

We profiled Trius back in March 2008. We remain bullish on this one. [ClinicaSpace]

Selexys Pharmaceuticals

Start-Up Updates: Trius, SelexysThese guys look like they’re on track to get their phase 1 up and running. The company said today that they’ve selected a manufacturer for their P-selectin mAb.
