Sanofi Has $5B in the Bank…

and they want to buy something with it. Not just something, Sanofi is on the hunt for acquisitions, particularly in emerging markets and consumer health.

CEO Chris Viehbacher made an internal speech earlier today in which he stated:

“(we) generate 4 billion euros in cash every year and plan to use the money for acquisitions…we will not rule out a large transaction.”

Typical buyout rumors include in BMS, Biogen, Blah-Blah, etc…
