For those of you who don’t remember, Jones Pharma merged with King Pharmaceuticals back in 2000. The deal valued Jones Pharma at $51.12 per share, or approximately $3.4B – not bad – making King Pharma one of the big dawgs it is today.

The retired founder of Jones Pharma Inc. lives here. At 33,000 square feet and a cost of over $8M to build, the “Jones Mansion” is the largest single family dwelling in the St. Louis metro area.
