Ready for the Plan B TV Commercial?

Here’s something you won’t see for a while in the U.S., or perhaps ever. It’s a commercial for the emergency contraceptive Plan-B.
Actually, the commercial is for Levonelle (Levonorgestrel), Bayer Schering’s EU version of Plan B. Bayer began showing the cartoon/animated commercial last week in the UK. The advertisement depicts a young woman waking up and recalling a condom breaking during the romp. On a bus she sees a baby crying and realizes she’s not ready for motherhood. The commercial then proceeds with the woman visiting the pharmacy to buy the OTC pill.

Levonelle is the first morning-after pill to get TV airplay and will be advertised after 9PM.
