The agency is still not convinced with the surfactant’s CMC documentation and has requested quality control stability and release issues be resolved before they approve the treatment.   • Ardea Biosciences announced positive results from a phase 1 study of RDEA594 and a phase 2a pilot study of RDEA806, both URAT1 inhibitors for the treatment of hyperuricemia and gout. [Yahoo!Finance]

    Discovery Labs closed their commercial operations today (Fri April 24). All of commercial was laid off.
