Laid Off Sales Reps Have Resource at AfterPharma

The axes and pink slips don’t stop and it seems like everyday there’s new layoffs and “restructurings.” If you’ve fallen victim, Afterpharma is an online resource for laid-off sales reps. We reviewed the site and it’s quite good, although still early without much content.
The content that is there, however, is great.
The site has categories for money and career issues/advice/tips, as well as a good list of resources that feature income and investing ideas — shorting your old company was not on there.
There’s also some great examples of sales reps who have found new careers (eg. recruiters) as well as a few examples you wouldn’t expect:
Jonathan Richman – worked for Procter & Gamble and now owns Bridge Worldwide, a digital marketing agency.
Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau – worked for a big pharma, now a filmmaker.
Great site if you’ve been laid off and want to network and get some ideas about what to do next. Check it out.
Of course, if you have an axe to grind and want to get your story which might not be “politically correct,” then you know who to contact…us!!!
