The investment was led by the Novartis Option Fund, Lilly Ventures and Viamet’s existing investors Intersouth Partners, Hatteras Venture Partners, Lurie Investment Fund, and Astellas Venture Management.   • Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Inc says it’s completed the final tranche of a private placement in which it raised gross proceeds of an aggregate $7,092,500 million through the sale of 10,132,143 shares of common stock at a price of $0.70 per share.
