Cell Therapeutics, Pixantrone Gets Fan Site…Obsession Continues

Cell Therapeutics, Pixantrone Gets Fan Site...Obsession ContinuesThere seems to be an underground obsession with Cell Therapeutics (CTIC) and anything to do with Novartis, Pixantrone (Pix), OPAXIO, etc.

One fan/shareholder/believer/someone has created a website strictly for following the company, called CellTherapeuticsPixantrone (although the header only says Cell Therapeutics), and marking its every move in the news and blogosphere.

The site is essentially a collection of news articles and blog postings (some of them ours which the fansite basically copied and pasted from our site) that discusses CTIC and Pix. The interest lies around a potential licensing deal with Novartis (NVS), which we wrote about a few days ago. The news is not novel, but has been getting A LOT of attention since CTIC reported positive Pixantrone results last month.

In other news, The Seattle Times did a piece on CTIC this past weekend, profiling exec pay in 2008.

Stay tuned…

There’s also another new website for Cell Therapeutics. It launched on May 1st and is called The CTIC View Project Forum. It’s an exclusive, Invite-Only, message board dedicated solely to topics relating to Cell Therapeutics. It’s run exclusively BY stockholders FOR stockholders.
