Bad Day For Markets, Pharma
March 5, 2009 at 3:07 pm EST | Tags: FinanceToday was not a good day at all for stocks – again. The Dow fell 281.40 points (4.09%) to a 12-year low of 6,594.44.
The AMEX Pharmaceutical Index also fell 4.47 (2.00%) to 219.11.
Everyone on the index was down except your faves and mine: Pfizer - PFE, Up 0.17 (1.36%) to 12.67, and Wyeth - WYE, Up 0.13 (0.32%) to 40.85.
Abbott, Amgen, BMS, GSK and Merck were all in the red
Hopefully tomorrow will be better…
