AstraZeneca: Next Round of Employees Shown the Exit

AstraZeneca has sacked 120 jobs in Germany, or about 9% of its 1,300 workforce in grand nation of Deutschland. The axes are part of a series of 15,000 layoffs that are occurring between 2007 and 2013.

German head of operations Henning Wrogemann said this:

“We certainly have not taken this decision lightly. But it is a correct decision that will help to secure the future of our company in an increasingly difficult economic and political landscape in Germany.”

And the pain continues…
