  • Entremed will be presenting data on ENMD-2076, Aurora A/angiogenic kinase inhibitor in development for liquid tumors. [Yahoo!Finance]

  • BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX) will present the full Phase 2 data set from Forodesine, which is in development for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Announcement of positive data sent BCRX up $0.77 (31%) from $2.42 to close at $3.19. [MedicalNewsToday]

  • Amgen will have a number of presentations, including data on Vectibix® (panitumumab), Neulasta® (pegfilgrastim), Aranesp® (darbepoetin alfa), denosumab, conatumumab (AMG 655), dulanermin (rhApo2L/TRAIL) and AMG 479. [Yahoo!Finance]

  • Boehringer Ingelheim will present new data on its two lead oncology compounds, BIBW 2992, in development for lung cancer, and BIBF 1120 in development for ovarian cancer. [MedicalNewsToday]

  • Xencor will present data from its Phase 1 study of XmAb®2513, an anti-CD30 Fc humanized monoclonal antibody in development for relapsed Hodgkin’s lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. [Pharmalive]

  • ZIOPHARM Oncology will present its entire pipeline: darinaparsin (Zinapar, ZIO-101), palifosfamide (Zymafos, ZIO-201) and indibulin (Zybulin, ZIO-301). [Pharmalive]

  • Finally, the moment everyone has been waiting for: Cell Therapeutics announced today they will present the much anticipated pivotal phase 3 EXTEND (PIX301) trial of pixantrone in patients with advanced, relapsed aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). Ruth Pettengell, M.D. of St. George’s Hospital, University of London, an investigator on the study, will present the data on Monday, June 1, 2009 during the Lymphoma and Plasma Cell Disorders session that will be held from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM EST.
